Last summer I created a set of conceptual drawings for my friend’s hotel. His plan is to redesign it as a dinosaur-themed property because of it’s close proximity to Dinosaur Ridge in Colorado. I produced eighteen sketches based on his initial conceptual write-up and since then he’s used my sketches for everything from talking to his local city council to sharing it with his architects. Checkout the reason why my art and the hotel is featured in The Oatmeal. It’s a pretty cool story. :)
Loving this blog! Especially this recipe for Crêpes with Sugar and Lemon… plus there’s a suggested musical pairing at the bottom of the page. Too cute! The inspired couple who run the blog (and reside in beautiful San Francisco) aim to introduce food lovers to music and vice versa. Check it out. Great photography, taste in food, and music.
“Trisha: Thanks for the beautiful drawing. It’s hanging in my room right now.
Napoleon Dynamite: Really? It took me like three hours to finish the shading on your upper lip. It’s probably the best drawing I’ve ever done.”—Napolean Dynamite
